Developed by Tikkun and the Network of Spiritual Progressives, the Environmental and Social Responsibility Amendment to the Constitution (ESRA), aims to bring back economic power to ordinary citizens. With an introduction by Rabbi Lerner, this video, “ESRA and the Story of Citizens United,” illustrates how the virtually unlimited rights of corporations are interfering with our efforts to build a caring society, and explains how we can reverse this trend. Roughly 80 percent of U.S. citizens believe that corporations have too much power. If we unite as individuals, we have the potential to change the system!
