Tikkun - to heal, repair and transform the world

National Office

The National Office is headquarters to both TIKKUN Magazine and the Tikkun Community. We are located at 2342 Shattuck Avenue, Suite 1200, Berkeley, CA 94704. (510) 644-1200. The office is authorized, under the direction of Robyn Thomas, Executive Director, to issue public statements and nurture the burgeoning national recognition for the ideas of the Tikkun Community in the following ways:

  • Outreach to let others know of our existence and our perspective, though direct mail, media, public speaking, and wider distribution of TIKKUN Magazine
  • Developing Links, sharing information, and participating in joint projects with Other Communities who share our values and orientations in at least one of the above areas. Our goal is to introduce to these other communities the particular perspective and ideas that we develop in The TIKKUN COMMUNITY, not to replace or compete with them. Cooperation, sharing, and mutual support is meant to be the center of our actual practice, not just our theory.
  • Providing leadership, direction and coordinating the six project areas described above and ensuring that they function within the world view and guidelines as articulated in The Founding Principles and further defined in Spirit Matters: Global Healing and the Wisdom of the Soul.
  • Taking public stands in the name of the organization consistent with the general perspective of the organization, and when possible in consultation with the National Advisory Board
  • Coordinating fund-raising for the various projects of The TIKKUN COMMUNITY
  • Planning and coordinating the national conferences and retreats of the TIKKUN COMMUNITY.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS IN OUR NATIONAL OFFICE in Berkeley, California. But we also could use the help of people in their own homes. Let us know if you'd like to volunteer, and what your skills are and what time you are available. Contact: magazine@tikkun.org or call (510 644-1200.
